Many people are under the impression that getting into the gym, joining a fitness program, waking up early, training after work is the hardest part of their fitness journey. For 99% of people it’s the nutrition aspect that is the real sacrifice…that’s the real test!
The nutrition is the difference between seeing marginal results to seeing AMAZING results, I can’t say this enough you cannot out run, out train, and out work your shitty diet.
So many people I meet think if I workout more I will get better results, if I train for hours each day or if I do boot camp, yoga, zumba, pilates, and run on the weekends my results have to happen…Sorry to say if the nutrition aspect of your program is wrong you are just ice skating up hill.
It comes down to how bad do you want it? If you really want to make serious changes you can, nothing is holding you back but excuses. No matter how rational you make those excuses out to be, “I’m busy with work, I cook for my whole family, I don’t have time, I don’t like certain foods.” They are all the same excuse in my opinion….
Do you think I like eating a lot of the foods I take in each day? NO, a majority of them I only eat for health and muscle building purposes…I understand that all that work I put into the gym, all the sweat, all the effort is going to pay off through my nutrition.
It’s just as hard for me as it is for you to pass up on pizza, ice cream, chips, cookies, and all the things that taste so amazing. The difference I want to get paid for the work I put in (see the physical results of the training I do) you wouldn’t work all week for a paycheck and come Friday throw your paycheck away would you? So why put in so much effort in your training just to throw away the results by eating unhealthy food?
Let me close this with a quote I read today on a sign that I think applies perfectly to your personal sacrifice with Nutrition.
