What are the benefits?
CBD helps the body maintain homeostasis. Specifically, CBD interacts with the body via the ECS or endocannabinoid system.
By tapping into how we function biologically, CBD can provide relief for chronic pain, anxiety, inflammation, depression and many other conditions.
Pain relief and anti-inflammatory: Studies have shown that CBD help reduce chronic pain by impacting endocannabinoid receptor activity, reducing inflammation and interacting with neurotransmitters.
Anxiety and depression reduction: CBD has the ability to act on the brain’s receptors for serotonin, a neurotransmitter that regulates mood and social behavior.
Improved sleep: With the ability to reduce anxiety, CBD is helpful in reducing sleep difficulties and improving sleep quality. It may increase overall sleep amounts and improve insomnia, according to research.
CBD has been shown to reduce insomnia in people who suffer from chronic pain. – Reduce acne: CBD oil may help treat acne due to its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to reduce sebum production, which commonly is associated with acne.
Is CBD safe? CBD is non-toxic for humans – even in high doses. It does not produce the psychoactive effects.
Until next time eat well, train hard & be nice to people.
