The Butterfly Effect Podcast ~ Jeremy Scott Fitness Podcast
Hey guys hope this finds you safe and if you just worked out also sweaty lol….
I recently did a quick podcast titled “The Butterfly Effect” How Everything Matters CLICK HERE to listen.
Now if you are unfamiliar with the theory here is a simple breakdown…
A butterfly can flap its wings causing air to move, this air can move more air and that accumulation of air molecules can possibly stop, alter, speed up, slow down or cause a tornado on the other side of the plant….pretty crazy to think right?
“Nearly 45 years ago, during the 139th meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Edward Lorenz posed a question: “Does the flap of a butterfly’s wings in Brazil set off a tornado in Texas?”
The purpose of his provocative question, he said, was to illustrate the idea that some complex dynamical systems exhibit unpredictable behaviors such that small variances in the initial conditions could have profound and widely divergent effects on the system’s outcomes. Because of the sensitivity of these systems, outcomes are unpredictable. This idea became the basis for a branch of mathematics known as chaos theory, which has been applied in countless scenarios since its introduction.” –AmericanScientist.Org
The point of me sharing this….
Everything we do matters.
Everything we do is significant.
The way you either smile and be kind to your local grocery store worker and neighbor or ignore them and treat them like they are insignificant …those interactions matters.
Nothing and nobody in your life is insignificant. Every action you take or don’t take has an impact on the world even if you can’t see it.
So, if a butterfly can flap its wings in Arizona and that can potentially cause a Hurricane in Louisiana, imagine how much impact you can have by smiling, waving, being kind and giving back to those who are less fortunate than you?
Just food for thought as we navigate these crazy times.
You have much more power in this world than you even realize, and the ability you have to make other people’s lives better goes far beyond anything you can comprehend.
Until next time eat well, train hard & be nice to people.
P.S. – If you don’t already please subscribe to the podcast HERE drop me a 5-star if you dig – leave a comment and share it with a friend – I thank you as always for your support.
