Grand Canyon Rim2Rim2Rim

Grand Canyon Rim2Rim2Rim

Recently I had the opportunity to hike the Grand Canyon Rim2Rim2Rim – hiking from the South Rim to the North Rim back to the South Rim in about 45 total hours start to finish.

I dig into the experience here in a very detailed podcast episode you can click here to give it a full listen about our adventure on the Jeremy Scott Fitness Podcast.

Some of our long time JSF athletes Brent and Wendy Orm talked me into it after a few years of asking and this was the year I cracked and made the trip with them….without them asking and organizing the event I am not sure it would have been possible or as pleasant of a memory.

I put together a little photo story below of our trek.

Was it worth it? 100% the North Rim and the entire hike epic views and experience.

Was it easy? NO…. this was by far the hardest “endurance” type thing I have personally done.

There were a handful of moments where I wanted to call it quits but I am stuck in the bottom of the Grand Canyon….so my only choice was to keep moving and hike on out.

Would I suggest you try it? 100%

I am a big fan of trying anything “safe” within reason at least once in your life for the experience, and story and memory.

This is as much of a mental test as it is physical at times.

I hope you enjoy the podcast and feel free to share it with friends and family who are thinking about tackling this bucket list item.

Until next time eat well, train hard & be nice to people.
