Just Be Yourself

Many people act like someone they are not in order to become “successful” “liked” “praised” and “respected”. Some folks do it to impress the opposite sex, their boss, their friends, even their family because they believed it would get them what they wanted and where they wanted to go.

The problem is when your not being you for extended periods of time you change. You change how think, how you act, how you talk and you become a person who tries to only please and impress others. You transform into someone else instead of being who you truly are.


This is a game people play that in the end they always end up losing, no matter how much “success” they achieve. You can’t be someone else forever, eventually it will wear you down and you will have to just be WHO YOU ARE.


In my opinion this is the only way to reach true success = true happiness is being yourself sharing your own gifts, talents, quirks, and uniqueness…. accepting the good with the bad and realizing we are all little bit fucked up …and that’s ok!

You CAN’T worry about what others think. You can’t control them or their thoughts anyway.

If you like who you are, then that is all that really matters. Don’t allow others to change who you are, don’t try to fit into what their idea of you who should be.


You are being judged regardless…no matter if it’s the fake you or the real you, so being yourself to me is the only option for happiness.

Being yourself is important because you will not be happy otherwise…in fact you will be miserable regardless of the accomplishments and achievements you receive along the way.

So, please be yourself. …Unless you can be Batman.

Then of course be Batman….

But in all seriousness just be yourself if you are NOT you will end up miserable and you are robbing the world of your own unique gifts and talents.
