Old Man Strength Club: Small Group Strength Training for Men 35+ in Scottsdale, AZ
New Group for men 35+
If you're a man in your 30s, 40s, 50s or beyond and you've spent years training but want a smarter way to get stronger, stay lean, move better and keep performing as you get older, we're creating something specifically for you.
Introducing the Old Man Strength Club at Jeremy Scott Fitness in Scottsdale, Arizona.
This isn't a boot camp. It's not a giant group fitness class. And it's not a watered-down workout designed for people who have never touched a weight.
It's small group personal training for men 35+ who already know their way around a gym and want to continue getting stronger without beating themselves up.
We're currently gauging interest for our first 10-week training block.
What Is the Old Man Strength Club?
The Old Man Strength Club is a 10-week small group weight training program for men 35+ in Scottsdale who want to build and maintain strength while also focusing on mobility, conditioning, nutrition and recovery.
The program is based on the same training principles behind our Old Man Strength and Old Man Shredded programs, adapted into an in-person coaching environment.
The idea is simple:
Get stronger. Stay lean. Move better. Keep training hard.
But do it in a way that makes sense for an aging athlete.
Because getting older doesn't mean you have to stop lifting heavy, stop challenging yourself or accept that you're destined to become weaker, slower and less athletic.
It means you need to become smarter about how you train.
Small Group Personal Training—Not a Big Group Workout
One of the biggest differences between the Old Man Strength Club and a typical group fitness class is the size.
We're limiting the group to just 6–8 guys maximum.
That allows the training to feel much more like personal training in a small group environment.
You'll have a coach watching how you move, helping you with technique, adjusting exercises when necessary and making sure you're progressing appropriately.
You'll train alongside other men who have similar goals and training experience, but you'll still receive individual coaching and attention.
That's the sweet spot between traditional one-on-one personal training and a large group workout.
Built for Men Who Still Want to Train Hard
There's a misconception that once you hit 35 or 40, your workouts need to become easy.
We don't believe that.
You can still lift weights.
You can still build muscle.
You can still get lean.
You can still improve your conditioning.
You can still be athletic.
And you can absolutely continue challenging yourself.
What changes is how intelligently you approach training.
Recovery becomes more important.
Mobility becomes more important.
Exercise selection matters more.
Managing training volume matters more.
And the ability to listen to your body becomes increasingly valuable.
The goal isn't to train like you're 25.
The goal is to be stronger at 45 than you were at 35—and still be going strong at 55.
What You'll Work On
The Old Man Strength Club isn't simply about lifting weights twice a week.
The workouts are the foundation, but the bigger goal is helping you understand what it takes to stay strong, lean, mobile and athletic as you get older.
We'll focus on:
Strength Training
Build real-world strength and maintain muscle through intelligently programmed resistance training.
Mobility
Improve how you move and address the areas that tend to become problematic as we get older—particularly hips, shoulders, ankles and the spine.
Conditioning
Maintain the cardiovascular fitness and work capacity necessary to perform outside the gym.
Nutrition
Learn the nutritional fundamentals that support muscle, fat loss, energy and long-term health without requiring an extreme diet.
Recovery
Understand how sleep, stress, training volume and recovery affect your ability to make progress.
Daily Habits
Because what you do for the other 23 hours of the day matters just as much as what happens during your workout.
Two Workouts Per Week
The initial Old Man Strength Club training block is designed around two coached sessions per week:
Tuesdays + Thursdays at 6:45 AM
Each session will be approximately 45 minutes.
The schedule is designed for busy Scottsdale professionals, dads and other active men who want to prioritize their fitness without spending hours in the gym every day.
Two focused strength-training sessions each week can go a long way when they're part of a consistent, well-designed program.
And because the program is built as a 10-week training block, you'll have enough time to establish consistency, progress your lifts and actually see measurable changes.
Why Train in a Small Group?
There is something different about training with a small group of like-minded guys.
You have accountability.
You have competition.
You have camaraderie.
And you have people who understand what it's like to balance training with careers, families, responsibilities and everything else that comes with life after 35.
You're not walking into a random fitness class with 30 people.
You're showing up twice a week and training with the same small group of guys for 10 weeks.
You know the coach. You know the guys. You know the program.
That consistency matters.
Train for the Next 20+ Years
This is ultimately what the Old Man Strength Club is about.
Not simply looking good for the next 10 weeks.
Not chasing a temporary fitness challenge.
And not trying to turn back the clock.
It's about building a body that can perform for the next 20+ years.
You want to be able to lift.
Play with your kids.
Travel.
Hike.
Play sports.
Stay active.
And do the things you enjoy without feeling like your body is constantly holding you back.
Strength is one of the best tools we have for doing that.
Getting older is inevitable. Getting weaker doesn't have to be.
