Inside Job: How Good Bacteria Support Your Gut & Health

Gut Health = Good Bacteria

Roughly 70–80% of your immune system is located in your gut!

Your gut lining isn’t just for digesting food—it’s packed with immune cells that act like bouncers, scanning everything that comes in and deciding:

  • What’s safe (like nutrients)

  • What’s a threat (like viruses, bad bacteria, or toxins)

The gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT) is the largest immune organ in the body

It’s loaded with immune cells like T-cells, B-cells, and macrophages. This is why I put such a huge emphasis on my personal gut health with the food I eat and supplements I take like AG1 (just ask for free samples).

AG1 helps gut health in a few powerful ways thanks to its blend of prebiotics, probiotics, and digestive enzymes—aka the “gut trifecta.”

  • Probiotics = Good Gut Bacteria

AG1 includes clinically researched strains like Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum, which help:

    • Balance gut flora

    • Improve digestion

    • Reduce bloating and gas

  • Prebiotics = Food for Probiotics

It also contains prebiotic fibers (like inulin) that feed your good bacteria—helping them thrive and out number the bad guys. This supports a healthier, more resilient gut microbiome.

  • Digestive Enzymes = Better Nutrient Absorption

    AG1 includes enzymes like:

    • Bromelain (from pineapple)

    • Lactase, lipase, amylase, and more

These help break down proteins, fats, and carbs so your body can actually absorb the nutrients from your food—especially helpful as digestive enzyme production can decline with age.

  • Reduces Gut Stress & Inflammation

Adaptogens and antioxidants (like Spirulina, Ashwagandha, and Chlorella) help lower inflammation in the gut lining and promote overall digestive comfort and immune balance.

In short: AG1 works like a daily gut support team—balancing bacteria, improving digestion, and helping your body actually use the good stuff you eat. I eat a diet of whole real food (elk, berries, veggies daily with my AG1) on top of that I throw in some yogurt and chia seeds for even more added probiotics and fiber to keep my gut acting right.

Again, if you want an easy, quick supplement for gut health that you can take in 30 seconds daily grab some AG1 HERE & we will throw in 5 free travel packs and a 1 year supply of vitamin D3/K2 with your first order.
